Recently, there were some members in the church who were experiencing financial difficulties and trials. While praying, the hand of the Lord appeared. I saw Him kneading flour, then pressing and rolling it out with a rolling pin like how you would make a dumpling skin. I thought the dumpling skin had fully expanded, but when He rolled it again, I saw that it could still expand and expand.
"Do you know why I knead the dough?"
Then the Lord began to spin it with His fingers like it's a pizza dough.
"Flour is the most popular ingredient. I can use it to make noodles, dumplings, or pizza. But for any dish, the dough must first be flattened out completely."
The Lord continued to knead and flatten the dough, then He added another small lump of dough. Because the new dough had to be flattened along with the existing dough, He kept on pounding and pressing it with the pin. The small lumps represented new members, who as new doughs, need to be quickly flattened to be like others. (Sister Joanna and Soyeon) The Lord continued as he pounded on the dough.
“If there’s even a little bit of hard part in the dough, after it's baked, no one can eat it.”
The dough ultimately represented our ministry. The Lord was flattening and widening us with the rolling pin. It represented that as we lay down more and more (flatten) and be more rich towards His ministry, our faith will grow and we will be able to cover more and more souls of the Father as an expanding dough. Our spiritual lives have been focused on taking care of our own faiths, but the Lord has wanted to expand our faiths all along.
“I love how easy it is to handle the ministry I love. Every little dough that sticks to it becomes flat.”
“Lord, again your expressions are too harsh. Even my wallet is already flat, so what else can be flattened? What else do we have to lay down”
"Do you know the principles of the Kingdom of Heaven? Do you know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven? Do you know how the miracle of the five loaves and two fish could happen?"
"Before I fed the five thousand, I already had the heart to feed seven thousand, ten thousand, even tens of thousands. That's why I could feed the five thousand and still have baskets of bread left over."
Mogsanim has been predicting many times recently that we might minister in other countries, like Africa, and he even told us to prepare our passports. At that time, Mogsanim jokingly asked if we would go to Africa if the Lord told us to, but the congregation's response wasn't too positive. The Lord mentioned this as well. He spoke to us:
"The place you are going to is a place full of fresh ingredients. But you must have a broader mindset. Even within the church, you frequently frustrate Me because I see many stingy hearts. (When it comes to deciding whether to send us or not,) I am not looking at the heart of My servant, your circumstances, nor what's going on in that country, but I am looking at your hearts first. Do you lack time? Do you lack money? Is your spiritual life all about your personal life only? Like a thick lump of dough... There is nothing more tasteless than the heart that only seeks to feed itself."
The Lord revealed that whether we are going to Africa or not is not dependent on other factors but our hearts, and that He has been watching over our hearts. When our hearts expand to His Standard, the Lord will surely send us, and just like how dumpling wrap holds its filling, so will we be able to scoop and harvest the souls there.
In a kitchen, there were lumps of dough, and a cook who was rolling out the dough one by one. Next to it, a furnace was visible. The rolled doughs were being baked in the furnace.
The furnace represented that the time where we will minister in the Fire, the time of great revival is coming. Before we are put intothe Fire, the Lord will try His best to flatten us to make each one of us the largest vessel. Depending on how much we are willing and how much we lay down, some of us will be flattened greatly like an X-large pizza crust and some may be as small as a taco shell, barely able to contain his own soul. Either way, once we are put into the Fire, the dough will be cooked and cannot be molded anymore. Flattened dough will be able to contain many ingredients/souls, while small, stubborn dough will contain very few or nothing at all. And we don't know if a small, empty, and hardened dough will be eaten at all or be thrown away. The Lord was emphasizing that the time of Fire, the time of the great harvest is coming and we must all hurry up and do our best to be flattened as wide as we can be.
The roller the Lord uses to flatten the dough represented Mogsanim who leads us with the Word. The position of a servant of the Lord, who needs to deal with the lives of the congregation is not an easy position, and Mogsanim gets uncomfortable sometimes especially when he has to talk about finances. However, the Lord is the one who uses Mogsanim in this way.
“My servant, you are my rolling pin. Do not worry about whether I beat, crush, or press My people through you. I am a good chef. You will see, one by one, what food comes out of the dough you are handling now.”
The Lord showed us that our ministry dough is slowly expanding and expanding beyond Georgia, and now covering the entire United States. This showed how far the Lord has been pushing our ministry. Through all the events of delivering the Word to various places and supporting others through financial means, the Lord has been expanding our ministry one by one. He made me remember John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son...” He showed us how this flat dough would continue to expand, eventually covering the whole earth like a dumpling would.
“I have given everything to you as one man (Romans 5). When you have a heart that can cover the entire world, then I will acknowledge that you truly do have My Heart.”
“People say they will preach to the ends of the earth, but most doughs tear apart before they even reach those places. The dough of Heaven does not tear. A heart that tears apart is not the heart of the Father.”
“Become wider. You will be able to feel that Heaven is expanding through you.”
When our hearts expand, we will be able to accommodate more souls into our lives which means that Heaven will expand due to our lives, souls will be saved because of our lives.
The Lord continued to talk about how He grows His ministry like a dough. Many ministries seek to be a global ministry, but the Lord gave us many warnings.
“There’s nothing more to say. The more the dough expands, the more it's likely to tear. Without the Heart of Heaven, it’s nearly impossible to grow continually. Prepare your hearts first. There must be no holes in the dough. If there is even the smallest hole in your life, it will surely tear apart later. If you use the wrong ingredients, it will tear apart. Since you cooked before, you already know what I mean.”
Last year, Heather decided to come to my house to make crepes, but she was late from work, so I ended up making the crepes myself. I followed her recipe, using the ingredients and the exact quantities, but all the crepes ended up tearing apart. Later, when Heather came and cooked it herself, the dough didn't fall apart at all for some reason. The problem turned out to be that I had used pancake mix instead of pure flour.
The Lord showed me how a church starts as a lump of dough and expands at a global scale. Though we may not notice this when the scale of the church is small, as the dough expands, it begins to form holes and tear apart gradually. The Lord told me that if you don't use heavenly ingredients and instead, run ministry according to your own ideas (wrong angle, human ideas, running a church like a business...etc.), you'll eventually end up with holes and tears.
"That's why global ministry is the most difficult ministry. A ministry may seem fine at first, but you'll see how far it goes. You can consider the history of Israel as a dough that remained as a lump."
Through a dough called "Israel", God planned to reveal His Glory to the whole world, but due to their stubbornness and disobedience, the history of Israel in Exodus could not expand further.
All glory to the Lord who gave us the message!
최근에 교회안에서 물질적으로 어려움이 있고 시험이 겹치고 하는 분들이 있었습니다.
기도 중에 주님의 손이 나타났는데 주님께서 밀가루를 반죽 또 반죽하고 또 그걸 펴셔서 만두피처럼 누르시고 홍두깨로 밀고하시는 모습이 보였습니다. 이 정도면 만두피가 많이 넓어졌다 했는데 다시 밀으니까 또 밀려지고 넓어지는 것이 보였습니다.
“왜 밀가루 반죽을 하는지 아느냐?”
주님께서 그걸 또 들으셔서 피자반죽처럼 손가락으로 돌리시는데..
“밀가루는 가장 인기있는 재료이다. 내가 이것으로 칼국수를 만들수도 있고 만두를 만들수도 있고 피자를 만들수도 있고 하지만 어떤 요리이든 먼저 반죽이 아주 넓어져야 한다.”
주님께서 계속 반죽을 미시고 평평하게 하시다가 한 조그만 반죽덩어리를 추가하셨어요. 다른반죽이랑 같이 평평해져야 되기 때문에 그 조그만 반죽을 망치질하듯 팡팡 때리시고 집중해서 밀으시는 것이었습니다. 작은 덩어리는 새로와서 있는 반죽과 같이 빨리 평평해져야 하는 새 성도를 뜻했습니다. (조애나 집사님과 소연)
“반죽을 구웟을 때 조금이라도 딱딱한 부분이 있으면 아무도 먹을 수 없다.”
반죽은 결국 우리 사역을 뜻했습니다. 주님께서 방망이를 통해서 우리들을 평평하게 만들어 주시는 것이었고 그것은 우리가 모든 것을 내려놓고 주님께 후해질 때 밖에 영혼들까지도 덮을 수 있는 믿음의 자라남을 뜻했습니다. 주님께서는 우리가 끝없이 더 평평해지고 넓어지도록 계속해서 우리들을 밀고 계셨습니다.
“내가 사랑하는 나의 사역은 다루기가 너무 쉬워서 좋구나. 붙어지기만 하면 다들 평평해 지는도다.”
“주님, 표현이 또 너무 하십니다. 제 지갑도 납작해 졌는데 더 납작해질게 무엇이 있나요?”
“천국의 원리를 아느냐? 천국의 비밀을 아느냐? 오병이어의 역사가 어떻게 일어난지 아느냐?
나는 오천명을 먹이기 전에 칠천명도 만명도 수만명도 먹이고자 하는 마음이 있었다. 그래서 오천명을 먹이고도 빵이 남은 것이다.”
우리가 이제는 다른 나라, 아프리카 같은데서 사역을 할 수도 있다고 목사님이 최근에 많이 예고하셨고 여권까지 준비하라 하셨습니다. 그 때 목사님이 주님께서 아프리카로 가라 하시면 가실 수 있냐 장난스럽게 물어보셨는데 성도들의 반응이 그렇게 좋지는 않았습니다. 주님께서 그것도 언급하셨습니다.
“너희들이 갈 곳은 아주 신선한 재료들로 가득한 곳이다. 하지만 더 넓은 마음을 가져야 한다. 교회 안에서도 인색한 마음들이 보여 갑갑할 때가 많도다. 내가 나의 종의 마음을 보는 것이 아니라 너희들의 여건들을 보는 것이 아니라 나라의 상황들을 보는 것이 아니라 너희들의 마음들을 먼저 보고있다. 시간이 없느냐? 돈이 없느냐? 개인 믿음생활이 최고이냐? 안 펴진 반죽덩이처럼..자기 자신만 먹이고자 하는 마음만큼 맛없는 음식이 없다.”
아프리카에서 사역을 하고 말고는 다른 요소들의 문제가 아니라 우리의 마음에 달려있었고 주님께서 그 마음들을 지켜보고 계셨던 것이었습니다. 우리들의 마음이 넓어질 때 주님께서 우리를 보내실 것이고 만두피가 속재료들을 담듯 그곳의 영혼들을 수확하게 될 것입니다.
한 부엌에 반죽덩어리들이 있고 요리사가 반죽을 하나하나씩 밀고 있는데 옆에는 화로가 보였습니다. 밀어진 반죽들은 화로에서 구워지고 있었습니다.
화로, 구워질 시간, 즉 불로 가득할 불사역할 시간이 모두에게 오는데 그 전에 주님께서 아무리 밀어주셔도 넓어지지 못한 자들은 그대로 구워져서 자기자신도 겨우 담을 조그만 그릇이 될 것이고 피자처럼 넓어진 자들은 많은 영혼/속재료들을 담고 성령의 불 속에서 함께 구워질 것입니다.
주님께서 우리 모두를 밀어주시지만 그것도 시간제한이 있는 것이고 사역의 날이 오기 전에 빨리 자기자신을 바꾸라는 주님의 당부하시는 말씀이었습니다.
주님께서 반죽을 밀때 쓰시는 그 홍두깨는 사실 말씀으로 이끄시는 목사님을 뜻하는데 성도들을 다루고 또 물질강조가지 해야하는 주의 종의 위치는 쉽지 않습니다. 하지만 그렇게 목사님을 쓰시는 분도 주님이십니다.
“나의 종아, 너는 나의 방망이다. 내가 너를 통해 치든 부수든 누르든 너는 걱정하지 말아라. 나는 선한 요리사이다. 너를 통해 만든 반죽을 통해서 어떤 요리들이 나오는지 하나하나 보게되리라.”
우리 사역 밀가루 반죽이 조지아 밖으로 미국을 덮고 계속 늘어나고 있는 상태를 보여주셨는데 주님께서 이제까지 우리 사역을 이만큼 밀고 오셨음을 뜻했습니다. 말씀을 전하고 물질적으로 다른 사역을 돕고 한 모든 사건들을 통해서 우리 사역이 점점 더 넓어지고 있었고, 요한복음 3장 16: “하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를..” 구절을 갑자기 생각하게 해주시면서 그 평평한 반죽이 계속 넓어져서 지구전체를 보자기처럼 담는 것을 보여주셨습니다.
“나는 한 사람으로서 너희에게 모든 것을 내주었다. 너희들이 이 세상 전체를 덮을 수 있는 마음이 있을 때 나의 마음을 가졌다 인정하겠다.”
“땅 끝까지 말씀을 전하다고들 하지만 가기도 전에 반죽이 찢어지는 경우가 대다수이다. 천국의 밀가루 반죽은 찢어지지 않는다. 찢어지는 마음은 아버지의 마음이 아니다.”
“넓어지거라. 너희가 너희들로 하여금 천국이 넓어지고 있음을 직접 느끼리라.”
우리의 마음이 넓어질 때 더 많은 영혼들을 감당할 수 있을 것이고 결국 우리의 삶 때문에 천국도 자연스럽게 확장할 것이라는 것이었습니다.
계속해서 주님께서 어떻게 주님의 사역들을 밀가루처럼 늘리시는지를 말씀하셨습니다. 많은 사역들이 세계적인 사역으로 되고자 하지만 주님께서는 먼저 경고의 말씀을 주셨습니다.
“더 이상 말할것이 없다. 반죽이라는 것은 넓어질수록 찢어지기 쉽다는 것이다.천국의 마음이 없으면 거의 불가능한 것이다. 너희들의 마음부터 준비하라. 반죽에 구멍이 나면 안된다. 지금 조금만한 구멍이라도 있다면 나중에는 분명히 찢어지게 되있다. 잘못된 재료를 쓰면 찢어지게 되있다. 요리를 해본 네가 알고 있다.”
작년에 헤더가 크레페 과자를 구워 준다고 했는데 늦게 오게 되어서 제가 직접 만들게 되었습니다. 재료랑 양이랑 모든 것을 레시피대로 해서 밀가루 반죽을 그대로 구웠는데 반죽이 결국 다 찢어졌습니다. 그런데 나중에 헤더가 와서 직접하니 반죽이 하나도 떨어지지 않았습니다. 알고보니 제가 순 밀가루를 안쓰고 설탕이 들어간 팬케잌 가루를 써서 잘못되었던 것이었습니다.
주님께서 한 교회가 반죽덩어리로 시작해서 세계적으로 그 반죽이 넓어지는 과정을 보여주시는데 교회가 작은 규묘일 때는 잘 모르지만 그 반죽덩어리가 넓어질수록 구멍이 커지고 찢어지는 것을 보여주셨습니다. 천국의 재료를 쓰지 않고 자기 생각대로 사역을 시작하면 나중에는 결국 펑크가 나고 찢어진다는 주님의 말씀이었습니다.
“그래서 세계적인 사역이 가장 힘든 것이다. 한 사역이 처음에는 큰 덩어리로 보여도 어디까지 가는지는 네가 보게 될 것이다. 이스라엘의 역사는 반죽덩이에서 멈춘것이라 표현하면 된다.”
이스라엘이란 반죽을 통해서 전세계에 하나님의 영광이 알려질 수 있었지만 그들의 불순종으로 출애굽기의 이스라엘의 역사는 광야에서 끝나고 말았습니다.
